Molly Gimmel, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Molly K. Gimmel is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc). Molly has been working in the field of government contract and acquisition management since 1991. Before founding D2DInc, she spent eight years working in the government practices of three of the “Big Five” accounting/ consulting firms. She is a recognized expert in government contracting and is regularly asked to speak to small business organizations and other groups interested in federal contracting.
Molly serves as the Program Executive for D2DInc’s contracts and subcontracts with the Navy, Department of Interior, General Services Administration, US Coast Guard, and other Federal agencies. In this role, she serves as the corporate liaison with senior customer personnel, manages onsite Program Managers and Team Leads, and ensures customer satisfaction, compliance and quality control. She interfaces with executive management of subcontractors and teaming partners. She also directs D2DInc’s business development efforts, proposals, teaming relationship development, and contract management function.
Molly currently serves on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and is a past president of the NAWBO Greater DC Chapter. She was named an Enterprising Woman of the Year in 2014 by Enterprising Women magazine. She is a member of Women in Defense, the National Defense Industrial Association, the National Contract Management Association (NCMA), and Women Impacting Public Policy.
Molly holds a Masters of Science in Contract & Acquisition Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from the College of William & Mary.
Diana E. Dibble, President & Co-Founder
Diana E. Dibble is the co-Founder and President/Chief Motivator of Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc). She began her government contracting career in 1987, and used her experience in business development, marketing, corporate communications, capture management, proposal management and development, recruiting, and training to help create D2DInc. She has both strategic and tactical expertise, and focuses on company operations including human resources, contracts, information technology, security, logistics, and accounting and finance to build a solid operational foundation for the company.
For the company’s first nine years she worked with commercial clients providing clients with business development, strategic planning, and proposal services. When D2DInc pivoted to focus exclusively on federal government customers, she moved into an operational role. She functions as the company’s Chief Financial and Administration Officer, and the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
D2DInc’s Administrative Operations Manager reports directly to Diana on human resources activities, employee programs such as benefits and company morale, and corporate office operations. D2DInc’s Business Operations Manager reports directly to her on finance and accounting activities. The company’s IT functions are outsourced; however, Diana is responsible for resource planning, acquisition of new equipment, and determining security and access protocols. She is responsible for security operations for the company, including developing and implementing plans, policies, and procedures. Diana has solid banking relationships, and ensures the company has adequate working capital for existing contracts; as well as financing for new contracts. She has final approval on company operational policies and procedures, and works with company’s legal team and operations divisions to ensure compliance to relevant regulations.
Diana is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Society for Human Resources Managers (SHRM), and NCMS, Inc. – the Society of Industrial Security Professionals. She is on the NAWBO Greater DC (GDC) Chapter’s Board of Directors, and is the GDC Chapter president for the 2019-2020 term. She holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Fine Arts.
